WORK
My work is rooted in investigation, pedagogy, and a curiosity for the intrinsic. I find teaching, performing and creating intimately linked and interwoven. We cannot separate our humanness from our work and our work cannot be parsed out by the roles we assign. Being an artist is a humble sharing of where we are in our human existence. We share as we teach, we share as we perform and we share as we create where we are in our process as humans, embodied in the form of movement. Dance is innately personal yet highly giving and vulnerable. Dance is the container in which we uncover and to zoom in to investigate what is current, enveloped in the now-ness, as these investigations cannot be anything but both present and fleeting.
